  1. MUFFINS!!!!!!!!!!!! I love muffins!!!!!!! The future needs an instant muffin maker.

Aye, it does help, knowing you would want my book even if you would have to wait a few months. Thanks 8-D

    1. An instant muffin maker would be so awesome. Like that thing in The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy that sensed what you were craving, then made it. But only with muffins.

  3. Comparing my moods to Sherlock is spot on. If my landlord were like Mrs. Hudson I would be shooting the wall. I can lay about for days, I don't, but I can if I didn't have so much book work to do. Not leave the flat for weeks if I could get away with it. It is a good thing I have to work since I don't have a Watson to pull me out of my funks. 8-P

I agree about Elememtary. He just wasn't Sherlock, and THAT GIRL wasn't and never will be Watson. But as a crime show...it was okay. I just have to make myself pretend he isn't Sherlock. Every time they called him Holmes though I cringed inwardly.

Maybe they will get better though. At least they might make Moffat realize the depths of his betrayal with Adler.

    1. I'm at the part where Ssil and Art are going into the spiders' lair to try to rescue Jack and the rest.

And I really like it. It's amazing how Reeve can write in two very different voices successfully in the same novel (both Mumby's POVs)

  6. Oh, poor you. The old Tintin TV series was good, but nothing like the brilliance of the books, or the new movie. (His head knocks though...yeah, he does recover too quickly I think. *Smirk* My dad keeps saying, "How come he doesn't have brain damage yet?" Though, I'm kind of living proof you can smack your head on everything and still be MOSTLY functional. Sometimes.)

    1. Haha. My poor mother. She only saw the second half of quite possibly the worst episode. It's absolutely ruined for her (no, I don't remember which episode, unfortunately).

Hehe. I have a friend that was knocked silly by a high speed head-on collision (person to person, not car to car. Baseball is a dengerous sport...), and he wasn't all there for -days-. It was funny, but I really don't think Herge realized the full effects that bashes on the head has on the brain. Or maybe TinTin just has a very thick skull...

  7. Um...well, first, I am very glad you like the cover!

Second...I was looking at your blog. And I saw a book, button, at the top. Is that a book you wrote?
